Pakistan Army Frees 104 Hostages After BLA Hijacks Train in Balochistan!

In a recent incident in Pakistan's Balochistan province, militants from the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) hijacked the Jaffar Express train, which was en route from Quetta to Peshawar. The assailants detonated explosives to derail the train and subsequently took approximately 450 passengers hostage, including military and police personnel. They threatened to execute the hostages unless their demands for the release of Baloch political prisoners were met within 48 hours.

Pakistani security forces swiftly responded to the crisis. Over the course of the operation, they successfully rescued 155 hostages and eliminated 27 militants. However, dozens of hostages remain under the militants' control, with reports indicating that some are being guarded by individuals wearing suicide vests.

The BLA, a separatist group seeking independence for Balochistan, has claimed responsibility for the attack. They have demanded a prisoner exchange within 48 hours and warned of severe consequences if their demands are not met.

This incident underscores the ongoing conflict in Balochistan, where the BLA has long sought greater autonomy and control over the region's rich natural resources. The situation remains tense, with security forces continuing efforts to free the remaining hostages and restore order.
